Ballet Prelude: A Studio Company

    Ballet Prelude is an advanced program for dedicated dancers ages 15+ who are committed to rigorous training and artistic growth. It is designed for the young dancer striving to be a professional or dance major in college. Audition is required to join.

    Students at this level are expected to fully participate in all scheduled classes and rehearsals, maintaining a high standard of discipline, technique, and professionalism. This level emphasizes advanced ballet technique, pointe work, and performance readiness, with additional training in pas de deux and contemporary dance.

    The program includes repertory workshops with renowned teachers, such as Joanna Berman and Joseph Walsh.

    Students in Ballet Prelude perform the major roles in Fall Classic, Nutcracker and Spring Show. They will also participate in the choreographic workshop

    Additionally, students will be prepared for auditions with one on one coaching and recording of videos.

    20+ hours per week
    Monday through Saturday
    with additional hours for rehearsals

    Option to increase hours in a morning program. Please enquire for more details

    Fall Session (15 weeks, Sept 2-Dec 18)
    Spring Session (20 weeks, Jan 5-June 7)
